Crime Organizations,
Money laundering,
Tax evasion,
In the name of better economic: Storing cash as investment rather than spending it, slows down the economy.
As well as pressuring palestinians.
In Israel more than 10% of the population do not have bank accounts, this will turn this 10% of the population into criminals from one day to the next! Normal citizens having to now use digital centralized state issued money rather than cash. Having to open a third party bank account.
This a direct attack to privacy.
They will have to open bank accounts, have their every transaction scrutinized, even ranked and classified into different expenses categories. Use a credit cards, pay fees and follow the bank and state regulations.
Cash was the last place of economical freedom from third party and state rules.
The need for bank less, authorization less, personal money is real!
Bitcoin is an open ledger. It is not hiding any transactions, but it is your funds. Your keys. You are the bank. In this new digital world. It is the closest form of cash, if we could say "digital cash" that we can own.
